Philippe Bartholomi
CENTURY PARK HOTEL
A native of Belgium, permanently residing in the Philippines since 1986, he graduated Hotel and Restaurant Management in Ecole d’Hotellerie de la Ville de Liege, in Liege Belgium.

He held various positions as Sous-Chef, then Executive Chef in some of the most recognized Michelin stars restaurants in Belgium (Maison Moulan) and Relais & Chateaux (Hostellerie Berkenhof) before moving to Manila in 1986 as Ex. Sous-Chef then as Manager of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Club at the former Silahis Hotel in Roxas Boulevard.

Philippe was also consultant to several resorts, hotels and restaurants properties throughout the Philippines, mostly in the provinces.

He was the Asia-Pacific Director of Operations of Studebaker’s, a chain of luxury membership clubs, and restaurants based in Singapore.

Philippe was the General Manager of the exclusive Manila Polo Club before joining Friday’s Resort Boracay in 2003 as General Manager also in charge of the planning and development of Fridays Boquete island in Mindoro.

He is presently the General Manager of the Deluxe 500-key Century Park Hotel Manila since August 2008.
